For the U? program of Le Guess Who? we are happy to announce Ambient Melodies, Reimagined Realities with live ambient performances by Myra-Ida van der Veen and Legowelt
Ambient Melodies, Reimagined Realities is co-curated by Antenne, Creative Coding Utrecht and Sounds Like Touch. Through tactile technologies, ambient melodies and reimagined realities, the program explores what it means to find one’s voice within, beyond and against the structures that shape our world.

Myra-Ida van der Veen is a vocalist and multimedia artist exploring the boundaries of the human voice and its extensions through technology, electronics, and self-built instruments. Her work moves between experimental music, sound art, and immersive performance, investigating how voice can be transformed, amplified, and reimagined.
In Tactology Lab #2, she collaborated with Lux Nautilus and Niels Dielen in the project LUCHT.
For this show she performs an ambient live set combining synthesizer textures, layered vocals, extended vocal techniques, and DIY instruments that alter and reshape her voice.
Legowelt (Danny Wolfers) is an electronic musician, composer and visual artist, whose music spans a varying range of sub-genres.
Legowelt presents Ambient Trip Commander
Ambient Trip Commander is a 70-minute hand-drawn animated film created by Danny Wolfers. A cult figure among electro and synthesizer enthusiasts, Legowelt will accompany the film with a live performed soundtrack for this occasion.
The film follows Samantha Tapferstern, a synthesizer shop employee who receives a mysterious invitation from a hacker group to visit a secluded Alpine village, setting her off on a sinister night-train adventure.
