Sensor soup
Are you a maker who works with sensors? Or simply curious to explore the convergence of physical movement, sound, light, and motion? Join our bi-weekly program Sensor Soup!
Sensors are where the physical world meets expressive output. They sit at a crossroad where material, software, hardware and design meet each other.
In Tactology Lab, we bring exactly that kind of knowledge together. With Sensor Soup, we want to make it accessible to our community throughout the year.
What happens at Open Sensor Lab
It's a walk-in evening in our Makerspace where you are welcome to join, bring your own (sensor) project and materials, and simply dive into your flow.
It's not a solo exercise though, as working alongside other creatives, at a dedicated time, tends to expand ideas, refine technicalities and take projects to the next level.
At our Open Sensor Lab, we all work on related projects: you've got extra eyes on your problem, and your own expertise is a resource for someone else in the room.
We provide the workspace, coffee and tea, and good company to keep you focused. A soldering station, a 3D printer, and basic hand tools are also available on site.
Sensor Soup is still taking form. Your input for these evenings is valuable to us. We're starting by opening up our Makerspace to the community every other week, and we'll take it from there. We're happy to see you there and hear what you think.
