Practical Information

The Sounds Like Touch Makerspace is located on the first floor at the circular, green and creative hub Hof van Cartesius. Sounds Like Touch uses the space as both a studio and an office. It also serves as a venue for our own events as well as those hosted by us.

Additionally, the Makerspace provides a workspace for the individual practice of a couple of makers. The makers currently at the Makerspace are Dianne Verdonk, Roald van Dillewijn and Wouter van Veldhoven.

The Makerspace is located at a 3 minute walk from train/bus station Utrecht Zuilen.

There is plenty of space to park your bike or car (paid parking daily until 11:00 AM)

Accessibility
Due to the staircase, the Makerspace is not wheelchair accessible. Please let us know if you’re planning to attend an event and the space is inaccessible for you, then we can look for another suitable space at the Hof, for instance the common room just across the Makerspace.

Toilets are located in the common space across the Makerspace, on the ground floor. There are two single stall, gender neutral toilets that are wheelchair accessible.

During events we serve drinks and vegetarian / vegan snacks free or on donation.
